Miracles Happen -Claim Yours
In the end, only three things matter: How much you loved, how gently you lived, and how gracefully you let go of things not meant for you. -Buddha
Healing and miracles have been on my mind lately. I am happy to say I experienced two “miracle healing’s” of late. A couple of weeks back I woke in the middle of the night, teeth chattering and my body sweltering with fever. Groggy and delirious I reached for therapeutic grade peppermint essential oil and applied a few drops right on my abdomen, as I tucked in under the covers hoping for a few hours more sleep, I prayed:
“I am healed, I am whole, I am blessed with God’s love and enveloped with healing angels. This or better God. Amen.”
I slept soundly and sometime in the last hours of the early morning, my fever broke. In the morning I had no symptoms. Only the sweet scent of peppermint oil remained. I thanked God and the angels for their handy work and went about my day with gratitude.
On a soul level I claim miracles regularly, on a human level I must have needed more practice because a few days later, I threw my back out when getting up off the couch. I have never experienced a time when I hurt as much as in that moment. Pain punched my whole body, I likened it to childbirth, each step or movement brought sharp stabs. Strongly believing in holistic health, I utilized ginger essential oil to help reduce inflammation, iced my back, a wonderful friend a licensed masseuse applied healing touch and massage to assuage the pain and of course, I prayed for healing.
Two days later, still moving slowly to abate pain, I made my way to my physicians’ office. I was carefully examined and instructed to take an “unhealthy” (my opinion) dose of Ibuprofen, take it easy and that I would most likely have this condition for two to four weeks. Well, that is all I needed, two to four weeks in this half-dead position and pain, moving like a ninety-year-old! I choose not this! I claimed my healing right then, as I inched my way to my car. With conviction I prayed passionately:
“I am healed, I am whole, I am blessed with God’s love and enveloped with healing angels. This or better God.”
Yes, you guessed it. I woke the next day, healed. I was cautious at first when getting out of bed, but the pain was no more. “Thank you God and angels for healing and blessing me with faith!” It’s been about ten days and I am doing very well. In gratitude, I am abundantly blessed. I really should have claimed my healing sooner, still learning that lesson. I guess I needed to get a little mad.
May miracles be a part of your every day and I pray you to find time to thank the Lord for touching you so deeply with love and faith. I know I do.
